Scope and Content
Currently, the Welga! Project files contains 2 series: "Where's Philip" campaign files (2014-2015); Photographs (2015).
The "Where's Philip" series depicts paintings and murals from the "Where's Philip" campaign, which seeks to document and collect images of Philip Vera Cruz from across California and the nation. The Events series contains photographs and documents related to public outreach events conducted by Welga Project members.
Additional accruals are expected.

Series 1. "Where's Philip" campaign files, 2014-2015.
"Where's Philip" files organized chronologically by date of digitization.
"Where's Philip" campaign files contain photographs of various murals, paintings and artwork that depicts Filipino American farm worker activist Philip Vera Cruz.
Series 2. Delano files, 2015.
Files are organized chronologically by date.
This series contains photographs taken by Welga! Project members during visits to historic sites or field surveys at Delano. Additionally, supplementary research material regarding Delano will be added to this series. Additional accr
Series 3. Research Files, 1964-1971.
Files are organized alphabetically by title of document.
Research files contains primary resource material collected by the Welga Project, used for writing context statements, proposals, presentations, and exhibits. Collection highlights includes a transcript of an oral history interview of Philip Vera Cruz. Additional accruals are expected.
Series 4. Events, 2014-2017.
Files are organized by date of digitization or accession.
This series contains photographs and documents used during public outreach events. A large portion of the series currently features photographs taken during the 2017 Larry Itliong Day event at Oakland, California. Additional accruals are expected.

This series contains the Welga Project's newsletters, which provides information on ongoing projects and upcomming events.
